A separation chamber in which heterogeneous mixed powder containing ferromagnetic particles is dispersed, and a separation chamber in which the ferromagnetic particles and other powders are separated by a difference in mass, and in the separation chamber, a ferromagnetic substance in the heterogeneous mixed powder. By a ferromagnetic separation device having a magnetic field generating device arranged so that the magnetic force acts in the direction of the region in which the ferromagnetic material is to be separated, the ferromagnetic material is contained, for example, in the case of separating iron from the finely grained steel slag. When the ferromagnetic material is separated from the heterogeneous mixed powder, the ferromagnetic material can be separated efficiently. |
