Method of Continuous Acylation of Amino Group-Containing Organic Acids |
abstract |
The present invention reacts an amide by reacting at least one organic acid of formula (II) containing at least one carboxylic acid of formula (I) with at least one amino group under microwave irradiation in a reaction tube in which the longitudinal axis extends in the direction of propagation of microwaves in a monomodal microwave applicator. It relates to a process for the continuous N-acylation of amino group-containing organic acids to form. Formula I In the above formula (I) R 1 is hydrogen or an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms. Formula II In Formula II above, A is an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, X is an acid group or a metal salt thereof, R 2 is hydrogen, an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, or a group of the formula —AX, wherein A and X are independently as defined above. |
