titleOfInvention Prognostic Polynucleotide for Atrial Fibrillation
abstract The present invention provides polynucleotides or their complementary polynucleotides comprising Single-Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) of genes related to structural remodeling of the left atrium, which affects the recurrence of atrial fibrillation. Since the polynucleotide or its complementary polynucleotide can be used as a predictor of the prognosis of atrial fibrillation, according to the present invention, early detection of a patient that is likely to cause structural remodeling of the left atrium causes the patient to progress to chronic persistent atrial fibrillation. Prevention can improve clinical outcomes.
