abstract The present invention relates to a novel strain for producing an antifungal substance, Streptomyces javensis MJ M5508 for producing an antifungal substance and a composition for controlling phytopathogenic fungi comprising the same as an active ingredient, pathogenic yeast comprising the same as an active ingredient and Provided are a pharmaceutical composition for treating an infectious disease caused by a pathogenic fungus, and a method for controlling fungal causative bacteria occurring in plant plantations using the same. According to the present invention, it can be usefully used as a biopesticide for the cultivation of plants and crops, replacing chemical pesticides having side effects such as soil, water quality, agricultural product contamination, toxicity.
