titleOfInvention Process for preparing antimicrobial cotton fiber of cellulose matrix chemically and / or physically bonded with silver and antimicrobial cotton fiber obtained therefrom
abstract The present invention relates to a method for producing an antimicrobial natural cellulose-OAg matrix that does not elute, and more specifically, natural cellulose is immersed in a solution of AgCl dissolved NH 4 OH to silver ions (Ag + ) to the natural cellulose matrix And introducing hydrogen into the natural cellulose matrix into which the silver ions are introduced, thereby replacing the hydrogen of the natural cellulose -OH with Ag + to form a natural cotton-AgO composite. The matrix obtained by the present invention has an antimicrobial effect, is not cytotoxic to human skin, and does not elute the chemically bound silver component even upon rehydration by chemical bonding of silver and the matrix. It maintains its concentration to maintain antimicrobial activity.
