titleOfInvention Method of treating zeolite for nonaqueous electrolyte treatment and nonaqueous electrolyte
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a zeolite which enables dehydration treatment of the nonaqueous electrolyte solution without causing a problem of elution of sodium from the zeolite when the nonaqueous electrolyte solution for lithium batteries is dehydrated using the zeolite. The present invention relates to a zeolite in which 97.5 to 99.5 mol% of the ion-exchangeable cations are ion-exchanged with lithium. The use of this zeolite reduces the elution of cationic impurities such as sodium to 50 ppm or less while maintaining the nonaqueous electrolyte. Can dehydrate. With regard to the zeolite species, at least one zeolite selected from the group consisting of A-type, chabazite, ferrilite, ZSM-5 and clinoptilolite can be used.
