abstract | The present invention provides a solvent or solvent composition for printing a solar cell, an organic thin film transistor, an electronic paper, or a plasma display pattern that has high solubility and low hygroscopicity of resin additives such as binder resin. The solvent or solvent composition for printing a solar cell, an organic thin film transistor, an electronic paper, or a plasma display pattern of the present invention is a solvent or solvent used when forming an element constituting a solar cell, an organic TFT, an electronic paper, or a plasma display by a printing method. The composition includes a compound in which one of the two terminal alkyl groups of propylene glycol dialkyl ether is a methyl group and the other is a straight or branched chain alkyl group having 3 to 5 carbon atoms. As the printing method, at least one method selected from the group consisting of an inkjet method, a screen printing method, an iron plate printing method, an offset printing method, a gravure printing method, a microcontact printing method and a nanoimprint method is preferable. |
