titleOfInvention | Method for manufacturing vertical light emitting diode using crystalline bar |
abstract | A method of manufacturing a vertical light emitting diode is disclosed. A plurality of crystalline bars are formed vertically oriented on the substrate. Crystalline rods have a regular arrangement, with the top surface forming a (0001) plane. A light emitting structure is formed on top of the crystalline rods having an extremely consistent arrangement. Crystalline rods differ in chemical composition from light emitting structures and have different materials. Therefore, selective removal of crystalline rods is possible through chemical methods. In addition, the substrate may be removed using a conventional laser, and the substrate may be removed using the mechanical properties of the crystalline rod. |
