titleOfInvention Systems and Methods Using Interfering Optical Modulators and Diffusers
abstract Various embodiments of the present invention provide an interference light modulator comprising a substrate layer about 0.1 mm to about 0.45 mm thick and a method of manufacturing the same. The interference modulator may be integrated with a diffuser in the display device. The thin substrate allows for the use of relatively thick substrates. The thin substrate can increase resolution and reduce the overall thickness of the interference modulator. The thick diffuser can provide an increase in diffusion and durability.
