A method for producing an aluminum titanate-based ceramic body obtained by using a calcined ceramic body, which is recovered in a manufacturing process of an aluminum titanate-based ceramic body, as a regeneration material, comprising an aluminum titanate-based ceramic body having excellent thermal properties such as mechanical strength, low thermal expansion, and heat resistance. An object of the present invention is to provide a manufacturing method that can be obtained.
