The present invention relates to specific immortalized avian cell lines expressing telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) and exhibiting pronounced production of biologies. More specifically, the present invention can amplify Flaviviridae but not amplify vaccinia virus strains Copenhagen (W-COP) and modified vaccinia virus ankara (MVA), or Flaviviridae and Fox An immortalized algal cell line capable of amplifying both viruses and Poxviridae. The invention further relates to the use of said immortalized algal cell line and to a method for producing a biomass comprising viruses and proteins associated therewith. |
