abstract | The present invention provides in each case (a) from 1% to 10% by weight of at least one polyester binder having an acid value of at least 20 mg KOH / g, based on the total weight of the basecoat material, (b) from 10% by weight to 30 weight percent of at least one acrylate binder, (c) 9.5 weight percent to 30 weight percent of at least one crosslinking agent selected from the group of free isocyanates, blocked isocyanates, and amino resins, (d) 1 weight percent to 3 weight percent At least one sulfonic acid catalyst, (e) from 1% to 35% by weight of at least one pigment, (f) from 30% to 65% by weight of at least one organic solvent, and (g) from 0.5% to 47% by weight A solid high solids content basecoat material having a solids content of at least 35% by weight, containing one or more adjuvants or additives.
