titleOfInvention Varifocal Fluid Lens
abstract BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a variable focus fluid lens using electrowetting, and more particularly, to an eye shape of a variable focus fluid lens including a first fluid and a second fluid in contact with a meniscus. It relates to a variable focus fluid lens which is sealed with an eye-shaped shape and is easier to seal than a conventional flat seal, and suppresses the generation of bubbles in the lens, and does not mix with each other at different refractive indices, and is a meniscus image. A first electrode insulated from the second fluid, the first electrode in contact with the second fluid and a second fluid filled with the fluid, and insulated from the second fluid, and opened in a state where the first fluid and the second fluid are filled in the fluid chamber. Provided is a variable focus fluid lens including a polymer film that seals an upper end in a substantially hemispherical shape, and a second electrode provided to act on the second fluid.
