abstract |
Provided are a method and apparatus for generating hydrogen from an ammonia borane compound using a dehydrogenation catalyst. The hydrogen generating method according to the present invention comprises a central metal palladium (II), a counter anion coordinating to the central metal palladium and an ancillary ligand coordinating to the central metal palladium and the counter anions are BF 4 -, SbF 6 - and PF 6 - to use one or more dehydrogenation catalyst selected from a catalyst of the dehydrogenation reaction of ammonia borane compound. By using such a dehydrogenation catalyst, two equivalents or more of hydrogen from an ammonia borane compound, which is a hydrogen storage body, can be generated with high efficiency at a low temperature such as room temperature in a short time within 60 seconds, and also has excellent regeneration. |
