The present invention relates to a composition for treating or preventing ischemic disease comprising a XIAP protein or a nucleic acid having a nucleotide sequence encoding a XIAP protein. XIAP induces FAK 576Tyr phosphorylation on shear stress and consequently induces ERK activity, thereby promoting anti-arteriosclerosis and vasodilation, thereby achieving a therapeutic or prophylactic effect of ischemic disease. |
