abstract |
(Summary) The objective of this invention is provided with the liquid crystal aligning agent which can form the liquid crystal aligning film for retardation films which photo-alignment is possible also by a small amount of radiation irradiation, and the heating process during and after irradiation is unnecessary, and this liquid crystal aligning film for retardation films is provided. In addition, the present invention provides a retardation film excellent in liquid crystal alignment and thermal stability and a method for producing the same. (Solution means) This invention is a liquid crystal aligning agent for retardation films containing the polyorganosiloxane which has [A] photoalignment group. As for the said photo-alignment group, group which has a cinnamic-acid structure is preferable. |
