abstract |
Methods and systems are disclosed for generating high accuracy estimates of the 3D direction of a camera within a global reference frame. Direction estimates may be generated from an image based alignment method. Other direction estimates can be obtained from the direction sensors installed in the camera. The ordered derived estimates may be input to a high pass filter. Direction estimates from the direction sensor can be processed and input into the low pass filter. The outputs of the high pass filter and the low pass filter may be fused to produce a stabilized video sequence. |
