abstract |
We propose a surface structure with a combination of superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic regions by controlling the degree of wetting according to the position on the surface. By performing a large area pattern treatment in a single process without additional chemical treatment process, a patterned surface having a combination of selective superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic regions can be fabricated on a single side. In addition, the surface having the selective superhydrophobic region and the superhydrophilic region can be easily manufactured by the hydrophilic coating method, and the fine embossed surface having the selective superhydrophobic region and the superhydrophilic region can be manufactured without a separate processing in a single process. As a result of the selective wet treatment using water or other hydrophilic liquids, a simple hydrophilic coating treatment can be used to fabricate a patterned surface having selective superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic regions. |
