titleOfInvention | Ionic copolymer by aqueous dispersion polymerization, preparation method thereof, and dispersion for polymerization therefor |
abstract | A method for producing a copolymer of a polyethylene glycol macromonomer and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, in particular a copolymer of an acrylic monomer, and a copolymer and a dispersion for polymerization for the production are disclosed. Specifically, in the present invention, a copolymer is obtained by radically polymerizing a polyethylene glycol macromonomer and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, in particular an acrylic monomer, in an aqueous environment containing a cosmomorph salt in the presence of a polymer dispersion stabilizer, particularly a polyethylene glycol polymer dispersion stabilizer. . In a typical embodiment of the polyethylene glycol-based ionic copolymer of the present invention, the ionic copolymer is 1 to 60 mol% of monomer-derived anionic repeat units, 5 to 94 mol% of monomer-derived nonionic repeat units, and monomer-derived. Macromonomers having cationic repeating units in a ratio of 5 to 94 mol% and wherein the polyethylene glycol polymer dispersion stabilizer is acryl oil, methacryl oil or polyethylene glycol or methoxy polyethylene glycol substituted with a substituted or unsubstituted allyl functional group. A) a homopolymer of b) or b) an ionic copolymer which is a copolymer of the macromonomer and the ethylenically unsaturated monomer. |
