abstract It contains acidic oxidant which has excellent corrosion inhibitory property (rust-preventing characteristic, discoloration inhibiting property) against aluminum metal even under acidic condition, and does not affect the appearance or function of such aluminum metal. Provided is an acidic liquid composition containing an acidic oxidant which can be effectively used for disinfection or sterilization of a subject including a portion composed of an aluminum-based metal. The acidic liquid composition comprising (a) an acidic oxidant, (b) nitric acid or a salt thereof, and (c) at least one carboxylic acid selected from the group consisting of monocarboxylic acid, dicarboxylic acid and tricarboxylic acid, or a salt thereof. Use liquid composition.
