abstract |
The present invention is characterized in that in a microorganism having the ability to produce coenzyme B12, and having the ability to produce 3-hydroxypropionic acid using glycerol as a carbon source, a mutant microorganism inserted or amplified propanediol-using protein gene is cultured in a glycerol-containing medium. It relates to a method for producing 3-hydroxypropionic acid. According to the present invention, 3-hydroxypropionic acid can be produced in high yield from glycerol without adding expensive coenzyme B12 cofactor. |
