titleOfInvention | Optical Cells for Oligonucleotide Hybridization and Protein Interaction Display Using Liquid Crystals |
abstract | The present invention provides a composition comprising (a) a substrate comprising a continuous sinusoidal wave surface; (b) a plurality of oligonucleotides or proteins bound to the surface of the substrate; And (c) an optical cell for oligonucleotide hybridization or protein interaction display comprising a liquid crystal. The present invention is a method that can be performed universally in the detection of various biomaterials (eg, proteins, DNA, RNA, enzymes, viruses or bacteria) by quantitatively controlling the waveform characteristics of nanostructures. The present invention has the advantage of not requiring complex instrumentation and labor in detecting oligonucleotide hybridization or protein interaction. The present invention also provides basic data in fields such as biochips or biosensors using liquid crystals. |
