abstract The present invention relates to an ultraviolet ray and a visible photocatalyst comprising a hybrid carbon-titanium dioxide nanostructure thin film or a silver-titanium dioxide nanostructure thin film and a method for preparing the hybrid nanostructure thin film according to the present invention. When the titanium dioxide sol-gel precursor solution is mixed with each other, their relative mixing ratios can be adjusted to control the shape and arrangement of the structures, and the carbon nanostructures can be used to form nanostructures without using precursors or activation catalysts for carbon production. The hybrid carbon-titanium dioxide nanostructure thin film or the hybrid silver-titanium dioxide nanostructure thin film produced can be easily used as an ultraviolet light and visible light catalyst because it shows enhanced activity as an ultraviolet light and visible light catalyst.
