| abstract |
Methods, devices, and compositions for the treatment of severe and uncontrolled asthma are provided by administering large amounts of inhaled corticosteroids directly into the small airways of the lower lung. The present invention provides a substantial reduction in the oral corticosteroid dose administered concurrently. A particular advantage of the present invention is the significant reduction in corticosteroid-related side effects. |
