titleOfInvention | Bacillus subtilis sp. Anti-obesity Functional Fermented Soymilk by Strains |
abstract | The present invention compares the effect of inhibiting fat production in 3T3-L1 adipocytes and non-fermented soymilk using Bacillus subtilis KC-1 strain, and the secretion amount of leptin is B. subtilis MYCO 10001 fermented soymilk (F- MYCO) and B. subtilis KC-1 fermented soybean milk (F-KC) significantly decreased. Soybean milk and fermented soymilk were observed to determine whether these fat-producing effects were related to fat accumulation. In all, the amount of fat accumulated decreased, and among them, F-KC was significantly decreased (P <0.05), indicating that the production and accumulation of fat was suppressed and whether the decrease in fat accumulation was also related to lipolysis. Glycerol secretion was measured for the purpose of investigation. The glycerol secretion of unfermented soymilk was similar to that of control, but the secretion of glycerol was increased in all groups of fermented soymilk, especially F-KC. In addition, mRNA expression of PPARγ and SREBP-1c, the transcription factors that play a pivotal role in lipogenesis, was confirmed to determine whether the glycerol secretion was significantly increased and the decrease in fat accumulation of F-KC was due to the inhibition of fat production. As a result, the expression of these genes in F-KC was decreased in comparison with soymilk and other fermented soymilk. Soymilk (F-KC) fermented by B. subtilis KC-1 was found to be important transcription factors of PPARγ and SREBP-. By contributing to the inhibition of expression of 1c, there is an excellent effect of inhibiting the production of fat and reducing fat accumulation. |
