abstract |
The present invention provides a non-aqueous electrolyte and a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the same, which are capable of suppressing overcharge by electrolytic polymerization at the time of overcharging, increasing the internal resistance of the battery and more effectively suppressing overcharging. The nonaqueous electrolyte of the present invention is characterized by electrolytic polymerization at 4.3 V or more and 5.5 V or less on a lithium metal basis, and includes a polymer having a repeating unit represented by the following formula (1), an electrolyte salt, and a non-aqueous solvent. <Formula 1> (In Formula 1, A is a functional group electrolytically polymerized at 4.3 V or more and 5.5 V or less on a lithium metal basis, and R and R 'are each independently a hydrogen atom or a methyl group.) |
