abstract Provided is a method for transforming S. pombe to obtain a transformant which is more excellent in passage stability and capable of stably producing a desired heterologous protein. And the transformant obtained by the said method, and the manufacturing method of the heterologous protein using this transformant are provided. It has a promoter that functions in Schizosaccharomyces pombe, an expression cassette containing a heterologous protein structural gene and a terminator, and a recombination site that allows homologous recombination to the chromosomes of Schizosaccharomyces pombe. The transformation method which inserts the said expression cassette into the transposon gene Tf2 site | region of the chromosome of a ski irradiation Caromises pombe by homologous recombination using a vector. And the transformant obtained by the said method, and the manufacturing method of the heterologous protein using this transformant.
