The present invention relates to a catalyst composition comprising a transition metal compound having a novel structure and a method for producing a polyolefin using the same. The catalyst composition according to the present invention has excellent polymerization activity with respect to the olefinic monomer and can control a microstructure such as molecular weight distribution of the polyolefin in various ranges, thereby easily preparing a polyolefin having desired physical properties. |
