Transparent glass base material and manufacturing method of such base material |
abstract |
The transparent glass substrate 1 has one or more surfaces 3 provided with texturing formed by a plurality of geometric patterns 5 embossed with respect to the general plane of the surface 3. Texturing provides a transmission of radiation through the substrate that is greater than the transmission of radiation through the same substrate except that there is no texturing. In addition, the surface 3 of the substrate is provided with an antireflection layer 7 having a refractive index between the refractive index of the air and the refractive index of the glass. The antireflective layer 7 is the surface cavitation portion of the glass substrate 1 at the level of the surface 3 comprising a basic silica structure and cavitation spaces with characteristic dimensions of 0.5 to 50 nanometers. |
