abstract The present invention relates to a marker for diagnosing liver cancer and a method for predicting and determining liver cancer susceptibility using the same, more specifically, a polymorphic marker for diagnosing liver cancer based on a polymorphism present in an exon region of the TGFβRIII gene represented by SEQ ID NO: 1, and a composition for diagnosing liver cancer using the same , Diagnostic kits, microarrays and liver cancer susceptibility prediction and determination methods. The polymorphic marker for diagnosing liver cancer according to the present invention can be used as a genetic marker useful for diagnosing genetic susceptibility specifically to liver cancer. By using this, it is possible to accurately and conveniently comprehensively determine the susceptibility to liver cancer.
