titleOfInvention Yellow dust detection system using unpolarized infrared reflectance decomposition and yellow dust detection method using same
abstract The present invention relates to a yellow dust detection system through unpolarized infrared reflectance decomposition. In particular, we use satellite image data of the brightness temperature observed in the infrared channels 11㎛ and 12㎛ of the geostationary satellite in any sea area where yellow dust occurred. In more detail, the emission rate is obtained by the ratio of the luminance temperature and the sea surface temperature observed in the satellite, the emission rate is converted into the reflectivity, and then two reflectances are calculated using the polarization property of the electromagnetic wave, It is a method of detecting yellow dust by using the fact that the composition of water vapor and cloud of water is different. According to the present invention, by using the two resolved reflectances, and using the indices of refraction of yellow dust and water vapor, which are intrinsic properties of the material, yellow dust on the sea can be detected.
