An object of the present invention is to provide a polymer alloy fiber which is not only excellent in abrasion resistance, but also excellent in light weight, resilience, and aesthetics after dyeing, and a fiber structure composed of the fiber. The polymer alloy fiber of the present invention is a polymer alloy fiber comprising a polymer alloy formed by blending a polylactic acid resin (A), a polyolefin resin (B) and a compatibilizer (C), wherein the compatibilizer (C) is an acid anhydride. An acrylic elastomer or a styrene elastomer containing at least one functional group selected from a group, a carboxyl group, an amino group, an imino group, an alkoxysilyl group, a silanol group, a silyl ether group, a hydroxyl group, and an epoxy group, and the polymer alloy is not known. It is an island-in-water structure in which polylactic acid-type resin (A) forms a island component and polyolefin-based resin (B) forms a sea component. |
