abstract | It improves the power generation efficiency of microbial power generation device by simple and inexpensive means. By placing two plate-shaped cation exchange membranes 31 and 31 in parallel with each other in the tank 30, the negative electrode chamber 32 is formed between the cation exchange membranes 31 and 31, and the negative electrode chamber ( 32 and two positive electrode chambers 33 and 33 are formed with the cation exchange membrane 31 therebetween, respectively. The oxygen-containing gas is passed through the positive electrode chamber 33 and the negative electrode solution L is supplied to the negative electrode chamber, and the negative electrode solution is preferably circulated. An acidic gas (carbonic acid gas) is introduced into the oxygen-containing gas supplied to the positive electrode chamber 33. PH neutralization by acidic gas promotes the movement of Na + , K + ions, thereby increasing power generation efficiency. |
