The present invention relates to a polymer nanocomposite membrane for DMFC, a membrane-electrode assembly and a methanol fuel cell (DMFC) using the same, and more specifically, to include a Nafion polymer membrane in which hydrophobic silica nanoparticles are dispersed. It relates to a polymer nanocomposite membrane for DMFC, a membrane-electrode assembly (MEA) comprising the polymer nanocomposite membrane for DMFC, and a methanol fuel cell using the same. Since the polymer nanocomposite membrane has a lower methanol permeability than a commercial Nafion polymer membrane, in the MEA manufactured using the polymer nanocomposite membrane, there is less crossover of the reactive fuel at the cathode. In addition, the methanol fuel cell manufactured using the MEA including the polymer nanocomposite membrane may reduce fuel loss and voltage loss. |
