abstract |
A method of manufacturing a photovoltaic module is disclosed by forming a solar cell on a glass plate and contacting at least one liquid encapsulant layer with the solar cell. The liquid encapsulant comprises two components. The first component has an average number of hydroxyl functional groups of 2 to 25 per polymer chain and a Mn of 1,000 to 10,000. The second component is a polyisocyanate having at least two average functional groups. The molar ratio of non-terminal hydroxyl group in the polyol to isocyanate in the polyisocyanate is from 0.5: 1 to 1: 0.5. |
