abstract |
The present invention relates to a method of enhancing the sensitivity of cancer cells to radiation by the low expression of Dickkopf-1 (DKK1) gene, and more specifically, to increase the expression of DKK1 in lung cancer cell lines to increase resistance to radiation stress. Since the sensitivity of cancer cells to radiation stress is enhanced by inhibiting the expression of DKK1 to promote apoptosis, the radiation sensitizer containing the DKK1 protein expression or activity inhibitor of the present invention inhibits the growth of cancer cells, By increasing sensitivity to stress to maximize cell death, when used in combination with radiation therapy, it can be used very effectively in chemotherapy. |
