The present invention includes tissue engineering and, in particular, bone regeneration. The present invention relates to a porous three-dimensional matrix of biocompatible, structured porosity, predetermined and reabsorbable monetite, as well as synthetic methods capable of producing such materials and applications thereof. These matrices are the perfect base for cell colonization and proliferation and can be applied to tissue engineering and bone regeneration as a result of their beneficial properties such as biocompatibility, resorption, bone induction, reperfusion and the like. |
