abstract |
The composite membrane comprises a filtration membrane and a layer on the filtration membrane surface. The layer comprises a polymer comprising a polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) derivative with a hydrophilic moiety attached to one or more vertices. The composite membrane preparation method includes applying a photopolymerizable composition comprising a POSS compound, a hydrophilic comonomer and a photoinitiator to the surface of the filtration membrane. The composition is cured to form a hydrophilic layer on the filtration membrane. |
