The method for screening an angiogenesis inhibitor according to the present invention includes a candidate compound administration step of administering a candidate compound of an angiogenesis inhibitor to vascular endothelial cells or cultured cells derived therefrom, and the vascular endothelial cell to which the candidate compound is administered or the like. And a cell holding step of holding the cultured cells derived from the step, and a signal detecting step of detecting phosphorylation of the protein to be phosphorylated by administering endostatin.
