| abstract |
Plasma Display Panels (PDPs) are filters that are supported by the viewer's opposite substrate surface and include a frameless EMI filter supported by a glass substrate to block / shield a significant amount of electromagnetic waves. In one embodiment, the plasma display panel filter includes a transparent conductive coating layer (TCC) for shielding electromagnetic interference (EMI) and near-infrared ray (NIR) that does not require a conductive buss bar on the periphery. Also in one embodiment the need for a conductive frame is reduced or eliminated. The filter exhibits high transmittance to visible light and can block / shield electromagnetic waves. |
