titleOfInvention | Peritoneal Adhesion Inhibitor Screening Method |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for screening peritoneal adhesion inhibitors comprising the following steps. (a) contacting a test substance to be analyzed with activated-thrombin activatable fibrinolysis inhibitor (TAFIa); And (b) analyzing whether the test substance binds to TAFIa or whether the test substance inhibits the function of TAFIa; If the test substance binds to TAFIa or inhibits the function of TAFIa, it is determined as an inhibitor of peritoneal adhesion. The present invention was the first to identify the role of TAFI in the process of tissue regeneration and adhesion formation in a peritoneal injury model, and can be used to screen an effective peritoneal adhesion inhibitor at high speed and in large quantities. In addition, the peritoneal adhesion inhibitors discovered by the screening of the present invention can inhibit peritoneal adhesion by inhibiting activation of TAFIa and accelerating dissolution of blood coagulation. |
