Topical Coolant Patch Composition |
abstract |
Topical patch preparations comprising odorless physiological cooling agents and methods of using the same are provided. Topical patch formulations are made of an adhesive gel composition on a support, wherein the adhesive gel composition consists of an odorless physiological coolant, a water soluble polymer gel, water and a repair agent. When using a topical patch formulation, the topical patch formulation is attached to the skin surface of the subject and maintained at the site of attachment for a sufficient time that an odorless physiological cold depressant is applied to the subject. The present invention provides a variety of uses. |
