More specifically, the water or alcohol extract of lion cucurbita is contained in an amount of 1 to 20% by weight based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. It relates to a cosmetic composition for preventing or improving allergic diseases. The cosmetic composition of the present invention improves itching, erythema, and dry skin symptoms due to allergic diseases, and thus can be usefully used in developing various functional cosmetics because it prevents or improves skin damage.
