abstract |
The present invention relates to emulsion compositions, methods of softening fibrous structures using the same, and fibrous substrates treated therewith. The composition comprises 0.01 to less than 25.0 parts by weight of diorganopolysiloxane (A); 0.01 to less than 20.0 parts by weight of softener (B); 8.0 to 60.0 parts by weight of water (C); And 20.0 to 90.0 parts by weight of a water-soluble monovalent or polyhydric alcohol (D), wherein the continuous phase of the emulsion composition comprises (C) water and the (D) water-soluble monovalent or polyvalent in a ratio of 1: 0.5 to 1:10. An aqueous solution of alcohol, wherein the total content of components (C) and (D) is in the range of 30.0 to 98.0 parts by weight of the emulsion composition. |
