abstract |
The present invention relates to a wound dressing having a wound contact layer containing a wound treatment composition and adapted to maintain a temperature different from the surroundings, such as to achieve and maintain a heat absorbing effect on underlying tissue. Certain physico-chemical structures of the devices of the present invention allow for fluid inclusion and absorption of wound secretions while preventing skin sores. |
