titleOfInvention | Supramolecular complex containing paclitaxel with a cyclodextrin dimer for an anticancer drug |
abstract | PURPOSE: A supramolecular complex containing paclitaxel and cyclodextrin dimmer for anticancer is provided to improve biocompatibility and solubility of paclitaxel. CONSTITUTION: A supramolecular complex for anticancer contains paclitaxel and cyclodextrin dimmer including the paclitaxel. The cyclodextrin dimmer has two cyclodextrin units which are combined to both ends of an oligooxyethylene unit by covalent bond. The cyclodextrin is beta-cyclodextrin. The cyclodextrin derivative is hydroxymethyl cyclodextrin, hydroxyethyl cyclodextri, hydroxypropyl cyclodextrin, hydroxybutyl cyclodextrin, carboxymethyl cyclodextrin, carboxybutyl cyclodextrin, or mixture thereof. |
