abstract A method of manufacturing a dye-sensitized solar cell comprising a transparent electrode disposed on a substrate and a semiconductor layer disposed on the transparent electrode and having a semiconductor compound adsorbed with a dye, wherein the semiconductor layer forms a film of a semiconductor compound on the transparent electrode. Preparing an immersion liquid by dissolving a metal hydrate in a solvent; coating the metal hydrate on the surface of the semiconductor compound by immersing the substrate on which the film of the semiconductor compound is formed in the immersion liquid; and coating the metal hydrate. Thereafter, a method of manufacturing a dye-sensitized solar cell formed by a process comprising adsorbing a dye by immersing in a dye solution is provided.
