titleOfInvention Phase Transition Hydrogel
abstract The present invention relates to a resulting hydrogel composition comprising poly (vinyl alcohol) at a final concentration of about 20 to about 65% (w / w) and polyethylene glycol at a final concentration of about 2 to about 20% (w / w). A method of forming and said hydrogel composition, wherein said hydrogel composition is greater than about 30% (w / w) greater than the total polymer content of a formulated precursor polymer solution prior to formulation of said hydrogel composition. Total polymer content. The hydrogel composition may further comprise poly (vinyl pyrrolidone) at a final concentration of about 0.10 to about 0.75% (w / w).
