A half mirror having an arbitrary shape on an arbitrary substrate and excellent in appearance and design, and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method of the half mirror which concerns on this invention is a transparent substrate or the base material composition containing the addition polymeric compound which has three or more reactors, the addition polymeric compound which has an acidic group, and the addition polymeric compound which has a hydrophilic functional group.
