abstract | The present invention provides a method for preparing plasma and a test sample that is deficient in filing factor (FVIII) and lacks at least one other factor selected from filing factor (FV), filing factor (FV) and factor XI (FXI). Mixing and the test sample plus plasma has a final FVIII + FVa concentration of 10 pM to 80 pM; b) adding a starting component for the thrombin generation reaction; c) obtaining a thrombogram when performing a thrombin generation test (TGT) on the mixture of step b); d) comparing at least one of the thrombogram parameters from step c) with homogeneous parameters obtained with a standard thrombogram established on the basis of the standard sample, wherein the activated determinant concentration of the standard sample is known And change between each standard sample; e) deriving an activated determinant concentration measurement in said test sample from said step d); and a method of determining an activated determinant concentration in said test sample. |
